V. I. P. spent 2015's workshop with students attending ExPLORE (Extended day Program for Learning Opportunities, Recovery and Enrichment) at QJHS. While a number of students attended the workshop, only a handful voluteered to share their poetry with V. I. P. Students were encouraged to continue writing, if only for their own enjoyment. V. I. P. is in contact with the staff of ExPLORE, as well as other members of the QJHS staff, and is already developing curriculum and discussing options for next year's program.

V. I. P. spent 2015's workshops with Mrs. Rowlands' 3rd and 6th hour classes. The majority of both classes were enthusiastic about the program, if a little hesitant about actually writing poetry. V. I. P. received an abundance of poetry from the students; many students actually submitted multiple pieces for the final published collection.

V. I. P. has been in contact with Mrs. Rowlands regarding the 2015-2016 school year, as well as Liberty's other English teachers, Chevi Ingalls and Sheryl Miller. V. I. P. will spend the week of October 5-9, 2015 at Liberty, teaching workshops for grades 7-10.
